Katherine Brumberg is a PhD candidate in the department of Statistics and Data Science at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She expects to graduate in May 2024 and is currently on the job market. She received her bachelor’s and master’s in Statistics and Data Science from Yale University in 2019. Her research focuses on causal inference, in particular attaining optimal covariate balance in observational studies. She is interested in applying this expertise to advance the social good. She is advised by Professors Paul Rosenbaum and Dylan Small.
